At Destin VIP Rentals, we offer a premium bareboat charter experience, giving you flexibility while ensuring a safe, first-class day on the water.

Who Can Operate the Vessel

To personally operate the vessel, the charterer must:

• Be 25 years or older
• Hold a valid USCG Captain’s License (OUPV or higher)
• Be approved in advance based on experience and qualifications

Due to the size, performance, and value of our vessels, approvals for self-operation are limited.

Captain Experience (Recommended)

For the best experience, most guests choose to enjoy their day with one of our pre-approved, professional captains.

• We provide a curated list of experienced, USCG-licensed captains
• Captains are independent professionals, hired directly by you
• You may select, accept, or dismiss any captain at your discretion
• Captain fees are paid separately and arranged directly

This option allows you to relax, explore local hotspots, and enjoy a true VIP experience on the water.

Important Charter Details

• This is a bareboat charter agreement; the charterer assumes full responsibility for the vessel
• We do not provide crew or operate the vessel
• All guests must follow safety guidelines and captain direction (if selected)
• A refundable security deposit and signed agreement are required prior to departure
